Description
In 1912, one can point to a company using only sixteen shots over a thousand feet (Solax's The Girl in the Arm-Chair), while several never dip below thirty shots. Certain companies maintain a fairly consistent rate of cutting, while others produce films with shots per thousand feet ranging from a high of forty-nine to a low of eighteen.
