By the end of 1925, Bell & Howell had also begun selling a 35 mm version of the Filmo, the Eyemo. The Eyemo was primarily produced with newsreel camera operators and documentary filmmakers in mind. It was nonetheless rapidly adopted by many studio cinematographers, who used it to add extremely free camera movements to fiction films.
