The story map (in version 11) and outline editor (in version 12) visualize the script’s main pivots on a timeline. Finally, the beat board makes it possible to construct a mental map of the script by freely arranging, on a large space divided into squares, coloured boxes with ideas – for characters, events, acts, scenes, etc. – which can be joined, in particular by means of graphic connections, in a variety of linear or tree-shaped spatial or temporal structures.
